S.C. has a new menu, since the last time we stopped in (probably pre-pandemic!) and the parking lot was packed!! The dining room had folks waiting for a table, when we arrived. However, the staff moved guests to tables very quickly & efficiently! The food was very well prepared & served. We enjoyed everything we ordered!
Siam Cafe Seafood Restaurant...is a great place. They serve quality seafood at all times. My favorites are Steam Live Vancouver Crab / spicy beef noodle soup / Assorted Seafood with Vegetables. Try this place...
My husband and I dine at Siam regularly. We both live and work not that far away, so we dine for lunch and dinner. Just last night we went with three other couples and had a fabulous time. There is an ample parking lot that wraps around the building. When you enter, you are greeted by at least two or with such warm and friendly smiles! I love that they have several large round tables that have turntables in the center. There are often people celebrating birthdays and other occasions. It gives it a really nice uplifting atmosphere. The service is always very attentive, prompt and friendly! Their dining room is often full, so call for reservations during busy evenings. I can usually walk in with a coworker for lunch for two but I usually call ahead to check. The food always tastes fresh and delicious. Admittedly, I don't eat a lot of their menu items. I am allergic to fish and shellfish and don't eat pork or beef. I eat mostly vegetarian dishes, but will eat some chicken dishes. And I cannot eat dishes with spicy heat. But there are so many options for me I am very pleased. Last night we went back to our favorites. Mai tai for me. Beer for hubby. Vietnamese egg rolls for the table. My husband can eat anything and does. He devoured assorted vegetables and seafood. I enjoyed sweet and sour chicken. Everyone at the table ordered something different and spun their plates on the turntable and shared! They have a variety of desserts. We took key lime pie home. Usually we eat tiramisu there. Sorry no pictures. We were having such a good time eating and being with friends we didn't take pictures of our meals. Hubby and I were the only ones that had been before (some are out of town friends) but everyone loved their food and the service. We had such a good time and will return again and again.
Super nice place with the largest menu I have seen. I got a simple noodle dish with chicken and vegetables but next time I will Be more adventurous in my ordering. Service is prompt.
Best Thai food EVER!!! The menu options were bountiful. The service was extraordinary--we had 4-5 different people taking care of us throughout our meal. We cannot wait to go back.
Siam Cafe is a regular spot for when I'm craving home-style cooking. If my friends can't decide where to eat we frequently find ourselves here. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating to a large group. Sometimes they can be short staffed but overall great service. While the exterior and interior may deter some, it's clean and reminds me of other typical Chinese restaurants. We always see families and community gatherings here. We usually order the following: Siam Wings *Peking Duck: these come prepared in a bao form, while not traditional it's my favorite way *Vietnamese Grilled Pork Chops: this is my favorite dish here. The crispy pork pairs well with the pickled daikon and radish to cut through the fat. Garlic Green Beans Honey Walnut Shrimp Pad Thai Shrimp Wonton Soup Definitely a hidden gem!
Siam Cafe has a slightly sketchy exterior which is a pretty solid indicator that the food will be delicious, and it lived up to my expectations. I got a HUGE portion of pan fried noodles that will last me at least 3 meals for only $14. My friend got the beef short ribs with black pepper sauce and it came out on a hot plate, still sizzling. All 3 of us enjoyed our food immensely. The menu is definitely super authentic (though there are some Americanized Chinese dishes like orange chicken as well, if that's your vibe) and all the staff members speak Chinese if you're a Chinese speaker yourself. The food also came out SUPER quick. I was super impressed all around by my experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!
